Rovaniemi Central Station
Rovaniemi railway station-one of the country's oldest stations-opened in 1909. From the Rovaniemi station, you could make your way to Oulu, Tampere, Helsinki, and Turku via a direct daytime or night train. Currently, only one overnight train runs north of Kemijärvi.
There are 11 tracks in the station, three platforms, restaurants, vending machines, restrooms, loading docks for car carriers, and service assistance. However, the station's waiting rooms are not open 24/7. |
